Team Form in Last Five Matches (most recent first)
BLARY : W L W L WHT : W W W L W
Info:
- Bellary Tuskers qualified for the 2019 Karnataka Premier League by topping the group with four wins from six games, before beating Belagavi Panthers in the first qualifier.
- Hubli Tigers hit form at the right time, meanwhile, finishing the league phase in third place before beating both Shivamogga Lions and the Panthers in the play-offs.
- The Tuskers have Krishnappa Gowtham to thank for their form, with 201 runs and 20 wickets so far for the all-rounder.
BLARY vs HT Toss Prediction
Hubli Tigers lost the toss in both of their play-off matches so they are due to win this one, and they may elect to bat first given the general trend in Mysore.
BLARY vs HT Weather Report
Though cloudy in Mysore on Saturday, the weather is forecast to be warm (mid-20s) and the chance of rain is extremely low in the evening for this fixture.
BLARY vs HT Pitch Condition
Mysore generally offers a little assistance for seam bowlers and for spinners too. The batsmen have thrived there in this tournament, with some huge scores, but Hubli Tigers’ most recent play-off game was a reminder of what’s on offer for those with the ball.
Team News
BT Team News
Srinivas Sharath was preferred to Vishnu Priyan in the qualifier of KPL 2019 in the only position in this team that seems to be up for question ahead of the KPL final. Prasidh Krishna was back, after being rested for the final group game, and will lead the bowling attack again in the final.
HT Team News
Hubli Tigers have been unchanged for their last three matches, since Shreyas Gopal’s late arrival, and it is unlikely there will be any changes for the final.

BLARY vs HT Dream11 Prediction
Wicket-keeper
Chidhambaram Gautam has hit form in perfect time for the Tuskers, with two 90+ scores in his last two innings. The Tuskers captain is an excellent choice behind the stumps. KB Pawan is worth consideration at 8.5 credits, however, after scoring well himself recently too – though not quite to the same extent.
Batsmen
Mohammed Taha is the leading run scorer in the tournament so far and starred in the second qualifier. He should be considered must-pick at 9.5 credits. Devdutt Padikkal leads the charts for the Tuskers, meanwhile – including top-scoring when these teams last met. He should also be considered a must-have. That leaves space for one more batsmen, and Abhishek Reddy has scored consistently well enough at the top of the Tuskers’ order.
All-rounders
The difficulty is balancing the cost of the team, with Krishnappa Gowtham as high as 11 credits and Vinay Kumar ten credits. Gowtham finished the group stage in stunning all-round form, however – he has 201 runs and 20 wickets so far. Kumar, meanwhile, batted well in the two previous matches but fell short last time out. Even for their cost, they can both be considered worth selecting but the combined price is simply too high. Kumar has done less with the ball and may be the one to discard despite his batting. Codanda Ajit Karthik is nine credits and the lowest scoring of the five all-rounders (though he has still racked up 142.5 points so far). He was key to the Tuskers’ group stage win against the Tigers.
Bowlers
With funds maintained, Shreyas Gopal can be selected – he is just nine credits but has bowled well since his late arrival at the tournament. Team-mates Mitrakanth Yadav and Abhilesh Shetty have plenty of wickets between them too. The latter’s form is really good and he is a bargain at eight credits. That leaves 8.5 credits for the final bowler – not quite enough for Prasidh Krishna, but enough to select KP Appanna, who picked up some important wickets in the Tuskers’ qualifier.
Captain/Vice-captain
Krishnappa Gowtham is a must-pick as captain, even if he fell short last time out. His all-round form was there for all to see in the previous two games as everything he touched seemed to turn to gold. There are plenty of form players for the vice-captain pick, meanwhile. Chidhambaram Gautam has batted superbly in the last two games, and may just have the edge over Mohammed Taha, the tournament’s top run scorer.

Key Players
HT Key Players
Shreyas Gopal:
One of the leading wicket takers in this year’s IPL, with 20, Gopal was excellent in the final group game – his first KPL appearance of the year – and then claimed 2-17 against the Panthers last time out.
Mohammed Taha:
The top scorer in the tournament with 253 runs, he top-scored last time out with 63 from 44 balls and he has not scored less than 40 in any of his last three innings now.
Vinay Kumar:
The captain was the Tigers’ top scorer when they last played the Tuskers, while he scored back-to-back half-centuries at the end of the group stage and start of the play-offs to move to 210 runs so far.
BLARY Key Players
Chidhambaram Gautam:
Hard to ignore after smashing 96 in the qualifier win, following his 92* in the previous game, which have taken him to with five runs of top Tuskers run scorer Devdutt Padikkal. He has a strike rate of 141.07 too.
Krishnappa Gowtham:
After finishing the group stage in stunning form, he could not maintain it last time out. Nevertheless, after 201 runs – with a strike rate of 209.37 and a best of 134* – and 20 wickets, with a best of 8-15 – it is clear he is the Tuskers’ danger man.
Prasidh Krishna:
Utilising his IPL experience, Prasidh Krishna may have taken much less wickets than Gowtham – still a respectable seven – but, as his 0-20 from four overs last time out, including a maiden, proved, he will keep things tight from one end.
