 IRE vs SCO Toss Prediction

Scotland won the toss when these teams last met – the only time they have so far – and elected to bat first. Batting first has been the tendency, and Scotland could do the same again even though they lost to the Irish last time they met.

 IRE vs SCO Weather Report

Conditions will be again be sunny and clear in Dublin, with the prospect of rain very low. There will be quite a lot of wind around, however, despite temperatures around the 17 degrees Celsius mark.

 IRE vs SCO Pitch Condition

Scores at Malahide have generally been high during this series. Even when Scotland carted the Netherlands last time out, they then scored at a high rate themselves. It is definitely a pitch for batting.

Team NEWS:

 SCO Team News

Tom Sole’s performance on his T20i debut should earn him another crack this time. Alasdair Evans picked up a shoulder injury in the last game and, even if he is fit, it is doubtful he will be risked. Mark Watt could come back into the team in his place.

 IRE Team News
David Delany and Harry Tector made their T20i debuts when these teams last met and retained their places last time out too. Craig Young and George Dockrell came into the team last time out, but Boyd Rankin could return this time. This is also the last opportunity to give Simi Singh game time, after he was called up to replaced injured Jacob Mulder. Paul Stirling has not been risked as he suffered a minor injury.

 Team Guide

(We will help you to make a better Fantasy Team with this Team Guide. Do use your brain and instincts before making final decision)

 WK-

+M Cross +G Wilson +L Tucker
-M Cross is an attacking T20 batsman and will bat down the order . He can be a punt pick in SL teams due to his consistent 20-30 runs in every match with a pretty good strike rate too. However he may not get to bat much due to his batting order but he can be a good pick in GL if top order fails early. Got duck in first match and didn't got chance to bat in last match.

-Gary Wilson, The Ireland Skipper has been one of the most consistent faces in their side from the last half decade. He has claimed more tham 30 catches and has scored 1000 runs at an average of almost 28. He will bat 3 down. Punt pick in SL as his recent form is not good, Scored only 13 & 8 runs in last two match.

-Lorcan Tucker will bat down the order and will get to bat very less balls. However he can be a good pick if top order fails early which is unlikely not to happen. Scored 7 & 12 runs in last two matches.

 BAT-

+Kevin O Brien +Calum Mcleod +A Balbarnie +H tactor +Kyle Coetzer +George Munsey +O Hairs

-Callum Macleod is known for his Top knocks in T20 format. He is an experienced batsman with a pretty good average of 30+.However his recent form wasn't good but he will surely try to get a top knock today. Good pick in SL and bat's at 1 down. Didn't got to bat in first match but smashed 72 runs in 2nd last match when top 2 batsman departs earlier. Got out at only 18 runs in last match.

-Kyle Coetzer was in stellar form in the recently concluded ODI Tri series where he smashed 214 runs with the help of three fifties. He is a very dangerous batsman. Must pick and a default choice of C VC today. He is really very consistent. He will open the Innings. Smashed 89 runs off just 50 balls in first match but got out very early at only 10 & 5 runs only in both the last matches respectively so expect a good knock from him today.

-O Hairs will bat 4 down for SCO. He is a consistent scorer as seen in last couple of matches in which he had scored 20+ runs each. Can be a good pick in SL.

-George Munsey is coming off a great outing in the GT20 Canada where he scored 174 runs and two fifties. His most of the runs comes in the form of boundaries. He is a must pick fantasy choice. Default C VC. Opens the Innings also. He also smashed not out 127 runs off just 56 balls in first match. 34 & 27 runs in both the last two matches respectively.

-A Balbarine is technically gifted Batsman in the Irish side. Didn't played much T20 cricket but his last three ODI Innings have recorded two times 80+ scores. Expected to continue that form in T20 also. C VC choice. Scored 64 & 45 runs in last two matches. He will bat one down.

-Kevin O Brien has Been the most consistent batsman for this side. He will play a crucial role today. He has smashed more than 3000 runs at strike rate of 131 in this format. He has one century also in his name. Must pick in SL. He will open the innings too. Scored 30 runs in last match. Expect a top knock from him today.

-H Tactor will bat 2 down. He is a credit saver pick and can be very crucial today in this big match as these are the players who usually performs in finals. Played a very well knock of 60 runs in last match. Punt pick in SL.

 ALL-
+R Berrington +Tom Sole +M Leask +Stuart Thompson +Mark Adair +G Delany

-Richie Berrington is the second leading run getter in this fixture with 274 runs at a strike rate of 147. His record against the opponent team is very good as he had scored 5 times 30+ and a half century against them. He will bat 2 down. Consistently scored 20+ runs and took 1 wickets in all the last three matches. He can be a good choice of C VC as he will give points with both bat and bowl.

-M Leask will bat down the order. Didn't able to perform in any of the match till now neither with bat nor ball. He can be a good GL pick today.
-Tom Sole got chance to play in last match. He had howled really well and take wickets by giving only 15 runs off 4 overs. Comes only in 8.0 credits. Handy batsman also. Can be very crucial today.

-Stuart Thompson's all round performance will be very important today for IRE. He had performed well recently in World championships England At Lord's. Wicket taker bowler and can play good knocks also. Got a wicket in 2nd last match. Didn't looked in his real touch till now in this series and expected to perform today in the finals.

-Mark Adair, who claimed 4-40 in Ireland’s most recent win before scoring a 15-ball-38, could be a great pick for the all-rounder’s spot. Consistent wicket taker option. Must pick due to the new points system. Failed to took any wicket in both the first two match but got one in the last match. Expect to perform well today if IRE bat's first as he will bat 4 down.

+G Delany will open the Innings. he had performed really well in 2nd last match with both bat and bowl. Took 2 wickets and scored smashing 52 runs. Must pick in SL. Scored 12 runs in last match but didn't got any wicket.

 BOWL -

+D Delany +G Dockrell +Boyd Rankin +A Evans +Mark Watt +Hamza Tahir +A Neil

-D Delany had bowled in death overs in 2nd last match. Took a wicket also but gave too much runs. Can be replaced today by Bod Rankin in this big match. Gone wicket less again in last match.
-B Rankin is another must pick bowler in SL. He had experience of playing more tham than 100 matches. He is a handy batsman too. Wicket taker bowler. He will lead the pace attack and bowl in death overs also. Took 3fer in 2nd last match. Replaced by G Dockrell in last match.

-G Dockrell replaced B Rankin in last match and took 3fer. He is a wicket taker bowler who bowls in death overs. Must pick in SL.
-Mark Watt is a wicket taker bowler for SCO in all types of situations. He has s decent record too against the NED in T20's, as he had took 9 wickets against them with a good economy of 6.91. Must pick bowler in SL. Took 3 fer in 2nd last match.

-A Evans has a good economy rate of approx 7 which is not bad as he opens and bowls in death overs. Good pick in SL. Took 2 wickets in first match and 1-1 wicket in both the last two match.

-Hamza Tahir had played last match and took 4fer. However he is Not a very consistent bowler but pitch is favouring him so he can be very crucial again today.

C VC-
+George Munsey +C Mcleod +Kevin O Brien +K Coetzer +A Balbarine +R Berrington
-G Munsey and A Balbarnie can be seen as default C VC today in SL teams.
-K Cietzer and Kevin O Brien are other two safe options of C VC in SL today.
-R Berrington had played brilliantly in recent times and he is the most consistent too, so he can be tried as Punt C VC today in 3/4 members league.
- C Mcleod is a good consistent performer and can be tried as C VC in SL.

 Key Players:

 SCO Key Players:

 Hamza Tahir:
Got back to the form he showed in the recent ODIs (his first for Scotland) against Papua New Guinea and Oman, by taking 4-30 in the win against the Netherlands last time out.

 Calum MacLeod:
Top-scored when these teams last met, hitting 72 to get back to his best form. It was his highest T20i score and a sign he could start translating his ODI success into the shorter format.

 George Munsey:
Started the tournament with his blistering 127* and has made two good starts since too – 34 and 27. If he fires at the top of the order, Scotland could post a big score.

 IRE  Key Players:

 Andy Balbirnie:
The big-hitting batsman scored 64 in the first meeting with Scotland and 45 last time out against the Dutch. He has now passed 500 T20i runs, with his strike rate still above the 130 mark.

 George Dockrell:
Returned to the team last time out to take 3-23 with the ball. With support from elsewhere, they could have been match-winning figures.

 Gareth Delany:
Impressed when these teams last met when hit 52 at the top of the order, having earlier taken 2-31. He needs to produces that consistently if he is to stay in this team though.
