The pitch at Launceston is expected to witness good shots by the leading batsmen of the teams with the score crossing 150 or so. The bowlers will also be able to clinch major wickets with the pitch being worn out and flat as the game progresses.

Team NEWS:

 HUR Team News

The team ranks fifth in the point table, just a step below its competitor of the next match, Melbourne Stars. With no such player being consistent from both the batting and bowling segments of the team, there still has been a remarkable contribution on field alternatively from players like D Short, C Jewel, Rose etc.

From the bowling end, Qais and Meredith have been the leading performers clinching maximum wickets for the team. The team will step out to win over its opponents in the upcoming match at Launceston, with certain alterations so required in the overall performance.

 STA Team News
While the team lost the last match against Adelaide Strikers,  Maxwell scored maximum runs for the team. Stoinis has been the star batsman in the past matches whereby he scored 81 runs against Hurricanes in their previous outing. The team defeated them by 52 runs. The bowling alley led by Maxwell, Rauf and Zampa has been on a roll in all the matches by making the batsmen fall prey to their swiftness and pace in early stages of the game itself.

With 2 wins in 3 matches, the team ranks 4th as of now in the point table. However, the overall contribution by both the ends of the team has been commendable and is expected to be repeated in the upcoming duel as well.
