Team NEWS:

 SIX Team News

With 2 wins and 2 losses, the journey of the team has been a tumultuous one till now in the league. Batsmen like Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques, and James Vince are yet to touch down to half-centuries, yet have made their crucial contribution to the total score. J Philippe made an enormous 80+ score in the inaugural match against Scorchers and has been in a good form.

The bowlers are also in good swing, fetching wickets in all the outings except that against Brisbane Heat where they gave 209 runs with just 4 wickets in hand.  Ben Dwarshius and Tom Curran have 6 wickets each and have been consistent with their work on the field. Grabbing the eyeballs is Sean Abbott who has 9 wickets to his credit in 4 matches. Ben Manenti and Jackson Bird have also proved their mettle with significant performances in the past matches.

 THU Team News
With 2 wins and a no-result in 3 matches, the team is on a strong front with batsmen Callum Ferguson, Usman Khawaja and Alex Hales making remarkable contributions with their  50+ runs in previous outings. The top order has been performing so well that the lower order of Daniel Sams and Mathew Gikes has not got a chance to set on the field yet they have the potential to score runs if needed.

The bowling unit is equally well with Daniel Sams leading with 6 wickets in 3 matches to his credit. Arjun Nair, J Cook, and Chris Green are spinners of the team and have made the batting unit of the opponents fall weak. The team will step out to make its third victory with an aim of holding to the top position of the point table that it is at.

 Team Guide:

-Matthew Gilkes is selected by 8% users only who will bat at two down. Played only five T20 matches and batted at an average of 17 in them with good SR too. Good credit saver punt in GL today. Didn't performed well in any of the last two games but expected to see a decent knock today if gets to bat.

-Josh Philippe is a must have pick in SL as he is having Average of 33.1 in just 20 T20s with SR more than 150. He is a consistent batsman who is expected to play a top knock again by opening the innings. Good C VC choice too. Smashed 81 off just 44 balls runs in first match. Got good start in last three matches too but got out early at only 24,15 & 9 runs respectively.

-Daniel Hughes will open the innings for Sixers with Phillipe. He is another good batsman in SL who had been very consistent in his T20 career of 50+ matches as he holds average of 31 with good strike rate too. Good pick in SL and punt C VC choice too. Though Scored decent 22 runs in first match and failed to cross even 10 runs margin in next two matches but scored decent 35 runs in last game so expected to see a top knock today.

-James Vince is an experienced batsman and best C VC choice in SL considering his form which is very good. He has played approx 200 T20 matches and batted at an average of 30 with SR of more than 130. He has smashed a century too in this format. He will bat at one down for Sixers. Though got out at only 13 & 18 runs in first two matches after getting a good start but scored decent 39 & 22 runs in last two games.

-Jordan Silk is another talent who is having experience of playing more than 50 T20 matches and batted at average of 28 with decent Strike rate too. Though he hadn't played much top knocks but can easily score 20-30 runs if bat's in first innings as he will bat at three down. Selected by only 5.59% users in D11. Didn't managed to cross 20 runs margin in last four matches.

-Alex Hales will open the innings for Thunder. He is an experienced batsman who had played more than 237 matches and batted at an average of 29 with good SR too. He has smashed three centuries and 41 half centuries from these matches . Another good pick in SL and choice of C VC. Though got out at single digit runs in first match but smashed 68 runs in last game.

-Usman Khwaja has been very impressive in every format of the game and currently in good form as seen in last couple of series. He is having Average of 31 in 69 T20s with help of two centuries too. He will open the innings for Thunder and popular pick in SL today. Scored decent 22 runs in first match and played a good knock of 66 runs in last match.

-Callum Ferguson is another experienced batsman who has played 118 T20s and batted at decent average of 26 with help of two centuries too. Took 2fee again in last match.

-Jackson Bird is a decent bowler who had taken 47 wickets in 54 T20 matches at decent economy rate of 7.76 only. He is selected by only 25% users and available in less credits too so can become good punt today. Took 3fer in last match.

-Lloyd Pope is a young talent who doesn't have experience of playing much prolific leagues but can emerge out as good punt as he a good Spinner who can get some help from pitch today which is expected to favour the bowlers. Try him in GL as C VC. Got a wicket in last game.

-Arjun Nair is a good bowling all-rounder who can bat too as his average of 19 in approx 20 matches tells so. He has taken 13 wickets at economy rate of only 7.38, Good pick in SL especially if Brisbane opts to bat first as he will bat down the order. Got four wickets in three match.
