 #INDvsNZ Toss Prediction

New Zealand has won the toss in each of the last two matches so India is due this one. The Westpac Stadium might merit bowling first.

 #INDvsNZ Weather Report

There are 10% chances of rain around 11:00 P.M. local in Wellington. Thus, we should expect a complete match. The temperature will hover between 18°C to 20°C at the game venue.

 #INDvNZ Pitch Condition

The pitches used in this stadium are drop-in decks and are batting friendly. Generally, the drop-in pitches have hard surfaces, thus, hit-the-deck-hard pacers should get some assistance in the game. The boundary size of the Westpac Stadium is not very large and a high-scoring contest might be on the cards.

Team NEWS:

 IND Team News

Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini and Sanju Samson – a late replacement for injured Shikhar Dhawan – are yet to feature with India unchanged for all three wins so far. Pant could replace Shivam Dube, who missed his chance to impress with the bat last time out and bowled just one expensive bowler. Kuldeep would replace Yuzvendra Chahal if he played.

 NZ Team News
Scott Kuggeleijn came into the bowling attack last time out, replacing Blair Tickner, and there will be at least one more change for New Zealand in this match as Colin de Grandhomme is replaced in the squad by Tom Bruce – as planned – for these final two matches. Daryl Mitchell is also yet to be used and could come into the team.

 -Lokesh Rahul
Rahul will open the innings for India. He is a top-class batsman who had been very impressive in his 39 matches T20 career at an average of 44+ with a strike rate near to 150. Performed really well in both matches and the last series against Sri Lanka by scoring 50+ scores in both matches. Good C VC choice in SL. Scored 56, 57 & 27 respectively in the last three matches.

 -Tim Seifert
Siefert bat at 4 down on number 6 who is a decent batsman who had batted at an average of 18.6 in 21 T20 international matches with strike rate near to 140. He can be promoted at four numbers, proven as a good punt in SL if NZ opts to bat first.

 -Virat Kohli
Nation's favorite fantasy player will bat at one down. He is an evergreen player who is currently no. 1 batsman in the world having an average of 49+ in 80 T20I matches with SR nearing 140. Must have a pick in SL and default C VC too. Played very well in the last couple of ODI & T20 series. Though he doesn't have a good record against NZ his current form makes us expect to see a good knock today. Scored 45, 11 & 38 in the last three matches.

 -Shreyas Iyer
He will bat at two down. He is another young talent who is in form of his life as he is playing very consistent cricket as seen in the last couple of series and in domestic cricket too. He is having Average near to 25 in just 20 matches with a good strike rate too. Played match-winning knock of 58*, 44 in the first two games & 17 in the last match.

 -Rohit Sharma
Row-Hit Sharma is another must-have pick in SL today who had been the most attacking batsman, especially in T20 format for a while. He is a big player who is expected to play top knock today. He is having an average of 31+ from 107 T20I games with a strike rate near to 140. Another C VC choice in SL. Scored match-winning 65 & two sixes in a row to take his team to win in super over.

 -Manish Pandey
He will bat at four down for IND. He is another consistent batsman who had batted at an impressive average of 41+ in 36 T20 matches with a good strike rate. He is punt pick for today's match India opts to bat first.

 -Martin Guptill
is an experienced batsman who will open the innings for NZ. He had played 85 T20 matches at an average near to 33 with strike rate nearing 140. He is an attacking batsman who will either play a good knock or gets out early. His last 5 T20 matches were pretty good. Scored 30 & 31 in the last two matches.

 -Colin Munro
Munro will open the innings with Guptill. He is a must-have pick in SL considering his form in T20 cricket and a good record on this ground. He had batted at an average of 31+ with a strike rate of 160 in 62 T20 international matches. He had performed really well against India. He can bowl too if required. C VC choices in SL.  -Kane Williamson
Williamson will bat at one down. He is a consistent batsman who had batted at an average of 31+ in 59 T20 matches with a decent strike rate. Though his form wasn't so good in the last couple of T20 matches but scored 95 in the last match. Scored 56, 14 & 95 in the last matches. Punt C VC choice.

 -Ross Taylor

He is a reliable batsman who usually scores 20-30 runs easily. Good pick in SL if NZ opts to bat first. Scored 54, 18 & 17 in the last matches.

Santner is is a good bowler than a batsman as he had taken 51 wickets from 42 T20 matches at an economy rate of 7.20 only. He had batted at an average of 15 too which shows that he can play some shots. Must have a pick in SL if NZ opts to bowl first as he had bowled well against INDIA during there last series.

 -Ravindra Jadeja
R Jadeja is another must-have pick, especially if India opts to bat first as he will bat in middle order and bowl full 4 overs too. He is in good form right now as seen in the last couple of series. He had played 49 T20I games and taken 39 wickets in them, batted at decent average too.

 -Washington Sundar

 -Tim Southee
Southee is another impressive bowler who had taken 77 wickets from just 67 T20 International matches at a decent economy rate. He too had performed really well during there last T20 series in the year 2019. Must have picked if NZ opts to bat first.

 -Ish Sodhi
Ish Sodhi had taken 7 wickets from 6 Matches during his last T20 series against India which makes him a good pick in SL. He is an impressive bowler who had taken 50 wickets from just 43 matches at a decent economy rate too.

 -Navdeep Saini
Saini is an emerging talent who hadn't played much T20I cricket but he had taken 36 wickets in 40 domestic T20 cricket at an economy rate of 7.18 only. He had played 5 T20I cricket and taken 6 wickets too from them. Good pick in SL.

 Key Players:

 IND Key Players:

 Virat Kohli:
The India captain remains a danger wherever he bats, and his 38 from 27 balls – including a tidy partnership with Shreyas Iyer – kept things ticking last time out.

 KL Rahul:
Could not add a fourth consecutive T20i half-century to his current run of fine batting form last time out, but he still hit 27 and then played his part in the super-over triumph.

 Rohit Sharma:
Back to his big-hitting best last time out, with six fours and three sixes in his 40-ball 65 at the top of the order, before he hit two more sixes in the super over.

 Shreyas Iyer:

He has been a revelation for India and it seems that the team has finally found its number four. He took his team over the line in the series opener with a blistering 29-ball 58 followed by 44 of 33 balls.

 NZ Key Players:

Martin Guptill:
Always a danger at the top of the order, with three quickfire 30s in the series so far. He has scored 30, 33 and 31 to set a good pace in the super over, and he will do some serious damage if he can go deep.

Kane Williamson:
The New Zealand captain was at his best last time out, as he hammered 95 from 48 balls. He hit 51 in the opening game of the series, meanwhile, and now has 11 T20i half-centuries.

Mitchell Santner:
The highest-ranked of the New Zealand bowlers in the T20i world rankings, he picked up a second wicket of the tournament in the last match and he was economical from his four overs in the previous game too.

 Team Forms:

India’s run of T20i series successes continues, with New Zealand joining Bangladesh, West Indies and Sri Lanka on the recent list of teams the Indians have beaten in the shortest format. The tourists have won three from three on this tour so far – Rohit Sharma’s batting the mainstay of their latest win, which required a super over after opening partner KL Rahul had hit half-centuries in comfortable chases in each of the previous two games.

 New Zealand:

New Zealand has now lost five consecutive T20 internationals, two of which have gone to a super over. In this series, the last match was the best they have played as Kane Williamson followed up his half-century in the first game by smashing 95 from 48 balls last time out. He and Ross Taylor were out in the final over, however, as New Zealand could only tie the game and Tim Southee was unable to defend 17/0 in the super over.

Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul(w), Virat Kohli(c), Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, Manish Pandey, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini.

Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson(c), Tom Bruce, Ross Taylor, Tim Seifert(w), Mitchell Santner, Scott Kuggeleijn, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Hamish Bennett, Daryl Mitchell, Blair Tickner.

All the best
