 HUR vs REN Toss Prediction

Since the pitch is likely to remain good for batting throughout the match and the fact that the last two matches at this ground have been won by the side batting second, the toss-winning team will probably want to bowl first.

 HUR vs REN Weather Report

Clear weather has been forecast for this game with temperatures expected to fluctuate between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius. Humidity could be between 63% and 76% during the match.

 HUR vs REN Pitch Condition

150+ has been scored on five occasions in the three matches that have been played at this venue this BBL season, showing how good the wicket has been for batting. The previous match here between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars saw plenty of runs being scored and one can expect another high-scoring contest on Tuesday.

Team NEWS:

 HUR Team News

Hobart Hurricanes have announced an unchanged 13-member squad to take on the Melbourne Renegades on Tuesday night. Though they are coming off a heartbreaking loss against Adelaide Strikers, they will take heart from the fact that they put up a good fight and so they could keep the same line-up for this match. That would mean Jake Reed and Mac Wright will have to keep waiting in the reserves. Matthew Wade and Caleb Jewell will continue to open the innings for the Hurricanes while Thomas Rogers will be the new-ball partner for Clive Rose in the powerplay.

 REN Team News
Melbourne Renegades have made one change to their 13-man squad for this upcoming home game against Hobart Hurricanes with pace bowler Joe Mennie replaced by all-rounder Nathan McSweeney. The latter, however, is unlikely to be included in the starting eleven on Tuesday as the Renegades will want to stick with the same line-up that beat Sydney Thunder and Brisbane Heat in their last two games.

 Predicted Lineups (Playing11):

 Hobart Hurricanes

Matthew Wade (c), Caleb Jewell, Jake Doran, David Miller, Ben McDermott (wk), George Bailey, Clive Rose, Thomas Rogers, Nathan Ellis, Qais Ahmad, Scott Boland.

 Melbourne Renegades

 Key Players:

 HUR Key Players:

Ben McDermott:
He has been the most consistent batsman in the team's middle order. The wicketkeeper had struck an unbeaten half-century in the reverse encounter at the Bellerive Oval and is coming off a magnificent 17-ball 31 against Adelaide Strikers at the Aurora Stadium.

David Miller:
He is a key figure with the bat at the top of the order. The left-handed South African roared to form in the last time game against the Strikers, blasting an unbeaten 90 off just 48 balls. However, his pyrotechnics went in vain as the Hurricanes ended up losing the match.

Qais Ahmad:
He has been the best performer with the ball for Hobart Hurricanes this BBL. The young Afghan leg-spinner has taken 11 wickets including a four-wicket haul. Ahmad had returned economical figures of 4-0-23-1 in the earlier clash against the Renegades.

 REN Key Players:

Shaun Marsh:
He is currently the tournament's second-leading run-getter with 393 runs and has a couple of fifties to his name - 55 against Perth Scorchers and 63 in the recent derby match against Melbourne Stars. Marsh has made decent contributions with the bat in his previous four innings.

Cameron Boyce:
He has been the pick of the bowlers for Melbourne Renegades this Big Bash season with 11 wickets in as many matches at a decent economy of 7.21. The leg-spinner is coming on the back of a match-winning performance against Brisbane Heat, returning figures of 4-15.

Beau Webster:
He too has been impressive with the bat at the top of the order. He is averaging 50.57 and is having a strike-rate of 142.16. Webster has smashed two unbeaten half-centuries this BBL and both of them have come against Perth Scorchers.

 Team Forms:

 Hobart Hurricanes:

Hobart Hurricanes find themselves just one place above Melbourne Renegades at the seventh spot on the BBL 2019-20 points table with three wins, seven losses and a no-result from eleven league matches. Their performance graph has gone south since their eight-run win over Perth Scorchers and they have now suffered defeats in each of their last four completed fixtures. After sharing points with Sydney Sixers at the SCG last week, the Hurricanes fell short by 10 runs in Sunday's high-scoring clash against Adelaide Strikers at Launceston.

 Melbourne Renegades:

After losing their first nine matches on the bounce, Melbourne Renegades managed to finally pick up a win in last week's encounter against Sydney Thunder at Canberra. They next beat Brisbane Heat at the Gabba on Sunday. Both their wins were secured in a convincing manner - they defeated the Thunder by 12 runs (DLS method) before thrashing the Heat by 44 runs. But despite these back-to-back wins, the Renegades still languish at the bottom of the table with just four points in the bag.

 SQUAD:
Hobart Hurricanes:
Matthew Wade(c), Caleb Jewell, Jake Doran, David Miller, Ben McDermott(w), George Bailey, Clive Rose, Thomas Rogers, Nathan Ellis, Qais Ahmad, Scott Boland, Jake Reed, Macalister Wright.
