Sixers won four out of five matches while chasing in this season. And as per records, 4 of 7 matches in the last season were also won by the chasing side. So, the toss winning team is likely to field first.

 REN vs SIX Weather Report

A partly cloudy sky will prevail during the match followed by a clear sky by the last phase of the match. 20-23 degree Celsius would be the temperature range.

 REN vs SIX Pitch Condition

Not many high scoring innings have been witnesses on the pitch at Melbourne during the last season. So, it can be expected that the odds will toss between both batsmen and bowlers in the upcoming match.

Team NEWS:

 REN Team News

Considered as the weakling of BBL 2019 as of now, the performance graph of the Renegades has decelerated with every passing match. In-spite of Aron Finch, Shaun Marsh, Beau Webster making considerable scores to their best possible caliber, the team hasn't been able to open its victory account. The middle batting order however needs to amp up its batting pace and style, if the team strives to pose a major threat to the opponents.

What can be considered as the main cause of such consistent under-performance is the disappointing performance by bowlers like Cameron Boyce, Christian and Gleeson who have either a wicket or nil to their credit in the matches played so far. It is Richardson who is making the bowling unit sail across with his 8 wickets in total in the league, followed by Gurney.

 SIX Team News
In a very close call, the Sixers won their previous match against Sydney Thunders in the super over. The win was a testimony of the fact that the team knows how to strive hard and clinch the win in the last moment. Batsmen like Hughes, Vince and skipper Henriques have been consistent with their contribution through the bat.

All-rounder Tom Curran has played well on both fronts as he scored 35 off 17 and bagged 2 wickets in the last match. The bowling unit has been performing tremendously with Abbott fetching major wickets in all the matches. Curran, Ben Dwarshuis and Llyod Pope have been other prominent bowlers who have been balancing the boat with their splendid pace and style. The team will step out to register a hat-trick of wins with this upcoming match.

-Tom Curran and Aaron Finch can be the best C VC in SL today.
-James Vince and Shaun Marsh are other two safe C VC choices in SL.

 Key Players:

 REN Key Players:

Aaron Finch:
With 157 runs in 4 innings, the skipper batsman has been roaring high and has two half centuries to his credit. His attacking batting style can make the bowling unit of the Sixers fall weak, if he continues with his consistent performance.

Kane Richardson:
With an economy of 5.50, the bowler has 8 wickets to his credit. Although he bagged 4 wickets each in two matches and nil in the other two, he still has the potential to send the batsmen back early, if he gets the hang of the pitch and pace.

 SIX Key Players:

Tom Curran:
The all-rounder has bagged the 'Player of the Match' title twice with his unparalleled contribution both as a batsman and a bowler. With 8 wickets  in 5 matches, the player has amassed many runs to be added to the total score and the victory of the Sixers.

Sean Abbott:
With 11 wickets in 5 matches, the bowler has been a major threat to the batting unit of the opponents. His consistent form and pace is one for the books and he is expected to caste a spell on the Renegades at Melbourne.

 Team Forms:

The team is in a dilapidated state as of nowas it is in the last spot in the point table. Although the batting unit is performing well in all the matches, it is bowling unit that is acting as a black sheep for the team. There are many aspects that the team needs to work on and if it seeks to surpass its much superior team, the Sydney Sixers at Melbourne.

The form of the Sydney Sixers has been a roller-coaster ride with a few consistent performances throughout the BBL 2019-20. Standout performers like Tom Curran, Sean Abbott, Josh Philippe, Ben Dwarshuis and skipper Henriques are providing the apt fuel to keep the team going. It can be an easy win over the Renegades if the team goes on to repeat its overall performance in full might.

MELBOURNE RENEGADES: Aaron Finch(c), Sam Harper(w), Shaun Marsh, Tom Cooper, Daniel Christian, Beau Webster, Alex Doolan, Cameron Boyce, Richard Gleeson, Harry Gurney, Kane Richardson, Will Sutherland, Jack Wildermuth.

SYDNEY SIXERS:  Josh Philippe(w), Daniel Hughes, James Vince, Moises Henriques(c), Jordan Silk, Hayden Kerr, Tom Curran, Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis, Ben Manenti, Steve OKeefe, Mickey Edwards, Lloyd Pope.

All the best
